Getting Started
What is mcBedrock.net?
mcBedrock.net is a free community hub for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. We track player statistics, host server listings, provide skin browsing, and offer leaderboards — all powered by a lightweight addon or server plugin that runs in the background while you play.
How does it work?
Install our addon (for singleplayer/realms) or server plugin (for dedicated servers). It automatically tracks gameplay stats like blocks mined, mobs killed, distance travelled, and play time. Every few minutes, the data is sent to mcBedrock.net where it appears on player profiles, server pages, and leaderboards.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free. Player profiles, server pages, leaderboards, world uploads, skin history — all of it. No premium tiers, no paywalls, no catch.
Do I need to create an account?
You can browse player profiles, server pages, and skins without an account. You'll need to sign up if you want to claim your player profile, manage a server, upload a world, or customise your settings.
What stats are tracked?
Dozens of stats across several categories: play time, blocks mined, blocks placed, mobs killed, deaths, player kills, distance walked/sprinted/ridden, damage dealt and taken, food consumed, items picked up, chests opened, villagers traded with, animals bred, fishing catches, raids won, highest XP level, biomes discovered, furthest distance from spawn, and more.
What data do you NOT collect?
We never collect chat messages, IP addresses, inventory contents, location coordinates, or any personal information beyond your gamertag. The addon only tracks aggregate gameplay statistics.
Players
How do I claim my player profile?
Go to the link page and click Link with Microsoft. Sign in with the Microsoft account linked to your Xbox gamertag, and your profile will be linked automatically. No codes or in-game commands needed — works for all Bedrock platforms including console.
How do I link on console (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch)?
The same way as any other platform! Go to the link page on any device with a web browser, click Link with Microsoft, and sign in with your Microsoft account. No need to join any servers — it works entirely from the browser.
Can I link multiple Minecraft accounts?
Yes. You can link as many Minecraft profiles to one mcBedrock.net account as you like. Each profile gets its own settings and privacy controls. You can switch between them from the profile dropdown menu.
What is the 3D viewer on my profile?
The 3D model on your profile shows your current Minecraft outfit — including marketplace items, persona pieces, and capes. It's fetched from Microsoft's Persona API. You can rotate the model, toggle animations, and show or hide your cape. If you change your outfit in Minecraft, it'll update automatically next time someone views your profile.
What is the cape collection?
We automatically detect capes from your outfit and build a collection over time. Every time we see you wearing a different cape, it gets added. Click any cape in your collection to preview it on the 3D model. Cape detection works for both persona outfits and capes from your Minecraft profile.
What Xbox profile info is shown?
If you're a Bedrock player, we show your Xbox gamertag, gamerscore, gamerpic, bio, and location — all pulled from your public Xbox Live profile. This is the same information visible on xbox.com. If you want to control what's shown, adjust your privacy settings on Xbox, or hide it on your mcBedrock.net profile settings.
Can I search for any Bedrock player?
Yes. The search bar can find any Xbox Live gamertag, even if they've never been on a server we track. If we find them on Xbox Live, we'll create a profile with their skin, Xbox info, and capes. They won't have gameplay stats until they join a tracked server, but their profile is fully browsable.
What is outfit history?
We track every unique outfit you wear and store it as a snapshot. You can browse your past outfits on your profile and click any of them to load the full 3D model in the viewer. Cape-only changes don't create new history entries — only actual skin or outfit changes do.
How do I customise my profile?
Once you've claimed your profile, go to My Profiles and click Manage. From there you can add a bio (up to 500 characters), set your country flag, add social links (Discord, YouTube, Twitch, X, and more), and toggle which stat sections are visible on your profile.
How do I hide my profile or opt out?
Go to My Profiles → Manage → Privacy tab. You can set your profile to Unlisted (only accessible via direct link) or Private (only you can see it). You can also hide specific things: servers, statistics, leaderboard positions, Xbox profile info, capes, and your linked Java account. For a full opt-out, use the option in the Danger Zone — your profile will become invisible everywhere on the site.
What are likes?
Signed-in users can like player profiles and servers. It's just a way to show appreciation — likes are displayed on profiles and don't affect rankings or visibility.
Servers
How do I add my server to mcBedrock.net?
Sign in to your account, then visit the Add Server page. Choose your platform (Bedrock Dedicated Server, Paper/Spigot, or Fabric), download and install the appropriate addon or plugin, then follow the setup wizard. You'll receive a one-time setup code to enter in-game, and your server will be live within minutes.
What server platforms are supported?
We support three platforms:
Bedrock Dedicated Server — using either the mcBedrock Reporter addon or the BedrockStatistics addon.
Paper/Spigot/Purpur — using our Java plugin (supports Geyser + Floodgate for cross-play).
Fabric — using our Fabric mod (supports Geyser for Bedrock players).
Where do I find my setup code?
Your setup code is shown when you first register your server, and remains available on your My Servers → Manage page until it's been used. Setup codes don't expire — you can use them whenever you're ready.
How do I customise my server page?
Go to My Servers → Manage. You can customise your server name, URL slug, description, upload a custom icon and banner, toggle which leaderboards and stat sections are shown, add extra connection addresses, and control visibility and privacy settings.
Can I make my server private or unlisted?
Yes. In your server settings under the Privacy tab, you can set visibility to Public (appears in search and listings), Unlisted (only accessible via direct link), or Private (requires an access code to view). You can also hide connection details, anonymise player names, hide the player list, and disable comments.
How often does data update?
The addon sends data every 5 minutes while the server is running. Player join and leave events are sent immediately. You should see stats appear on your server page within a few minutes of the first player joining.
Can I use both the silent reporter and BedrockStatistics addons?
You should only use one at a time. Both collect the same data and use the same setup process. The silent reporter runs invisibly in the background, while BedrockStatistics includes an in-game UI for players to view their own stats. You can switch between them at any time without losing data.
Worlds
What is world uploading?
World uploading lets singleplayer and Realm players get the same stats, leaderboards, and tracking that server players get — without running a server. Install the BedrockStatistics addon on your world, play as normal, then export and upload your .mcworld file to see all your stats.
How do I upload my world?
First, make sure the BedrockStatistics addon is installed and active on your world. Play your world to accumulate stats, then export it from Minecraft (World Settings → Export World). Sign into mcBedrock.net and visit the Upload page to upload your
.mcworld file.Does it work with Realms?
Yes! Download your Realm from the Realms settings screen (there's a download button on each realm slot). This gives you a .mcworld file you can upload. All players on the Realm will appear in the stats and leaderboards.
Is my world file stored on your servers?
No. Your world file is extracted in memory, the stats are read, and the file is immediately deleted. We only store the statistical data — never the world itself.
How often should I upload?
Whenever you want to update your stats. Each upload creates a snapshot, and over time you'll see growth charts showing your progress. Once a week is a good cadence, but there's no limit.
Can I track multiple worlds?
Yes. Each upload can create a new world or update an existing one. You can manage all your worlds from the My Worlds page.
How do I export my world on console?
Consoles (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch) don't have a direct export option. You'll need to use a Realm to transfer the world to a device that can export it (Windows, iOS, or Android), then export and upload from there.
Addons & Plugins
What's the difference between the silent reporter and BedrockStatistics?
The silent reporter addon runs invisibly — no UI, no commands (other than setup/link), no player-facing features. BedrockStatistics includes a full in-game UI where players can view their own stats, leaderboards, and more. Both collect identical data and report to mcBedrock.net the same way.
Where can I download the addons?
You can download the BedrockStatistics addon directly from the world upload page or the server setup page, or from CurseForge. Java server plugins and Fabric mods are available on the server setup page.
How do I install a Bedrock addon?
Double-click the downloaded
.mcaddon or .mcpack file — Minecraft will import it automatically. Then open your world, go to Settings → Behaviour Packs, find the addon in the available packs, and activate it. For Bedrock Dedicated Servers, you'll also need to enable Beta APIs in your world settings and add server-net to your config/default/permissions.json file. The addon doesn't seem to be tracking anything?
Make sure the addon is listed under Active in your world's Behaviour Packs (not just imported). For Bedrock Dedicated Servers, check that
server-net is enabled and that the setup code was entered successfully. You should see a confirmation message in your server console when the addon loads. For world uploads, make sure you've actually played the world with the addon active before exporting. Will the addon affect my server performance?
No. The addon is designed to be extremely lightweight. It uses event listeners to track stats in the background and sends a small data payload every 5 minutes. Players won't notice any performance impact.
Account & Privacy
How do I sign up?
Visit the sign in page and create an account using one of the available sign-in providers, or with an email address and password. It takes about 10 seconds.
Can I delete my account?
If you want to remove your presence from the site, you can opt out from the Privacy tab on your profile settings. This makes your profile invisible everywhere. If you need your account fully deleted, contact us on Discord.
What privacy controls are available?
Quite a few. In your profile's Privacy settings you can: hide which servers you play on, hide your gameplay statistics, remove yourself from leaderboards, disable comments, hide your Xbox profile card (gamerscore, bio, location), hide your cape collection, and hide your linked Java account. You can also set your entire profile to Unlisted or Private, or fully opt out.
How do I unlink a profile?
Go to My Profiles → Manage → Danger Zone, and click Unlink Profile. This disconnects the Minecraft account from your mcBedrock.net account. You can reclaim it later by linking with Xbox again from the link page. Note: make sure you haven't opted out before unlinking, or the profile will become permanently hidden.
Who can see my data?
By default, player profiles are public. You can change this at any time — set your profile to Unlisted (direct link only) or Private (only you). Server owners can also control visibility of their server pages independently. World pages are unlisted by default.
